Fedora7がインストールできない

再インストールのついでにOSを最新版にしようとFedora7のDVDで起動。
　DELL PowerEdge 800
　SATA160GB×2

1回目：ブートメニュー選択後、こんな表示で止まる
　Loading vmlinuz ..................................
　Loading initrad.img .............................
　Ready.
2回目：maxcpus=1を付ける。
　変わらず。
3回目：clocksource=acpi_pmを付ける。
　変わらず。
・・・以下、試行錯誤の繰り返し
nodma,nodmaraid,acpi=off・・・

結局、無理っぽい。

パラレルATAを付けておけば成功したとのこと。
もうFedoraCore3で使い始めちゃったから、今度やる時に試してみよう。
